The School of Psychology

Outstanding Facilities

Located on the beach-front Singleton Campus, students at the School of Psychology can take advantage of the advanced laboratories equipped for cognitive neuroscience, psychophysiology, and behavioural research, enabling students and researchers to explore complex psychological phenomena. Some of our facilities include a high-density EEG suite, a fully fitted sleep laboratory, a social observation suite, eye-tracking, psychophysiological, tDCS and conditioning labs, a lifespan lab and baby room, plus over 20 all-purpose research rooms. The dedicated spaces such as the observation suites with one-way mirrors and soundproof rooms provide ideal environments for studying human behaviour and conducting experiments. Teaching and learning are also enhanced through modern lecture theatres, interactive seminar rooms, and access to up-to-date software and tools for data analysis.

Research programmes have entry points in January, April, July and September each year.
