Dundee’s research is highly rated by the most recent Research Excellence Framework (2022), which assesses the quality and impact of research submitted by universities across the UK. Dundee was, once again, named the top UK University for biological sciences, and achieved excellent results across disciplinary clusters of Mathematical Sciences, Computer Science and Informatics, and Engineering – all of which ranked in the UK top 30. Furthermore, 84% of the University’s research was found to be ‘world leading’ or ‘internationally excellent’.
