The University of Kent is delighted to offer £10,000 scholarships to students accepted on the MSc Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence), a conversion Master’s course for graduates with little or no prior knowledge of computer science.
The School of Computing is delighted to have been awarded £180,000 for 2024-25 scholarships to encourage more students into the UK Artificial Intelligence workforce. There are 18 x £10k scholarships available, funded by the Office for Students (OfS) in partnership with the Department for Innovation, Science and Technology (DSIT).
An important aim for this programme of work is to increase the number of people from groups currently underrepresented in the AI and data science fields, and to encourage graduates from diverse backgrounds to consider a future in these occupations.

In order to apply for this scholarship you must have made an application for a programme of study at IPP login screen (kent.ac.uk). Providing you meet the above eligibility criteria, you will then be able to apply for this scholarship via your applicant portal. We will be using a rolling application process where we will make decisions on the applications received. When the 18 Scholarships have been allocated, we will then close the Scholarship application process.
